INFORM YOURSELF CHECKLIST
Denali Area Visitor Centers

There are a number of visitor centers in the park area. Visit them early and often. They can help you find what you need to know.

1. Nenana Visitor Center

At Nenana, Mile 304 Parks. One of the best.

2. Healy Visitor Center

Turn at Mile 249 in Healy, 1/2 mile down the Spur Rd.

3. Denali Park Visitor Center

Turn into the park at Mile 237.4 Parks Highway. The visitor center is 1.3 miles up the Park Road. The Muir Science Center also serves as a visitor center and has displays.

4. Talkeetna Visitor Centers

There are several visitor centers in Talkeetna. Here’s what they are:

a. Talkeetna Junction Visitor Center
    Mile 98.7 of the Parks Highway

b. Visitor Center in downtown Talkeetna

c. National Park Service Ranger Station
    Information about mountain climbing.
